The year 5’s headed to Sovereign Hill Ballarat for camp, a town of the 1800’s Gold Rush. The students enjoyed panning for Gold, watching a hilarious pantomime of ‘The Trial of Timothy Hayes”, breakfast at the ‘New York Bakery’, shopping at Sovereign Hill Lolly Shop, nine pin bowling of the 1800’s, watching gold smelting in ‘Main Street’, Secret Chamber Mine Tour and of course dressing up in fashion of the times.
Thank you to the teachers for taking the students on a wonderful camp.
