Year 6 students put their entrepreneurial talents to the test at the annual Business Expo. As part of their economics unit, students worked in groups to create their own businesses selling goods or services. In the lead up to the Expo, they explored advertising and marketing strategies, wrote a mission statement and used their financial maths skills to create a costing and sales document. Despite the hot and windy conditions on the day, the students rolled up their sleeves and worked extremely hard serving the eager teachers, their Year 5 peers and each other . All proceeds from the Expo went to Tsefah Primary School in Tigray, Ethiopia. Congratulations to all involved in this amazing philanthropic learning experience.
