Year 4 Craftpower Incursion

On Friday 25th and Monday 28th of November, grade 4 students participated in an incursion called Craftpower. With our integrated unit this term focussing on Design 7 Technology, every and movement, this was the perfect program to provide students with valuable  hands on skills and knowledge. Craftpower allows students to experience using saws, hammers, nails and work benches to create a practical item. In our case we were able to build a “helicar’ that was powered by a friction gear box. The students had a fabulous tie building their cars and they each were able to take home a moving model.
