On Friday 2nd and Tuesday 6th June all the Grade 2 students had the opportunity to attend an excursion to Taskworks. Taskworks is an incredibly fun and unique activity centre where our children got to participate in 6 different “Task Centres”. They included Cable Maze, Stomp-a-Stump, Build It, Create A Scene, Puzzle Room and Pegfast. These activities have been designed to promote creativity, coordination and problem solving skills.

All the children had an amazing amount of fun and it was very difficult to wipe the smiles off their faces. All the students have been learning about Simple Machines as part of their Integrated Studies and returned to school with a greater knowledge and understanding of how Simple Machines work.
