Today 2nd August the Premier Dan Andrews announced Stage 4 restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne. His full statement can be found here:

Tomorrow, Monday 3rd August remote and flexible learning will continue. Onsite learning will be available for all the students currently booked to attend. Dan Andrews plans to announce how Stage 4 restrictions will impact industries, businesses and the work place.

Tuesday 4th will be a Pupil Free Day. At this stage the work uploaded to google classroom for Tuesday will remain in place.

Wednesday 5th will be a return to remote and flexible learning. Onsite learning will be offered but tightened – only available for students who really need it. That means children whose parents are permitted workers and vulnerable kids who can’t learn from home.

The Department of Education is yet to release information to schools outlining the guidelines for onsite learning for the period of Wednesday 5th August until Friday 11th September, and at that time OSPS will send information to parents. All of the families who require an onsite booking from Wednesday 5th onwards will be required to book again, please wait for the CareMonkey information and instructions on how to book.

This is a very concerning and challenging time for our students, staff, families and community and we hope you all stay safe and well.
