Today students and staff recognised Remembrance Day during our whole school zoom assembly by listening to the last post, observing a minute’s silence and listening to representatives from our ‘student voice’ who spoke about the significance of the poppy.
The Aleppo Pine Tree, a descendant of the original Lone Pine of Gallipoli still stands tall outside the window of the principal’s office near the prep classrooms.
The landscaping around the base of the tree was recently refreshed in time for the day.
