Is this real life? Road-testing showbags at the Royal Melbourne Show is something children would only dream about.

Well today grade 2AP is the luckiest Victorian primary school class to have their Show dreams come true. They’re the first to get their hands on this year’s showbags before the Royal Melbourne Show opens and have jumped on a bus today to the show grounds.

How did they do it? They entered a competition to describe what the Royal Melbourne Show would look like in 50 years time and won!

OSPS will feature in a Herald Sun article and news crews from Chanel 7, 9 and 10 are expected there today. So keep an eye out on the news!

The Royal Melbourne Show is excited about the all-new layout ahead of this year’s event which will see the showbags hall move to a bigger pavilion at the centre of the Show. OSPS students the first to have a glimpse!
