The official opening and naming of the new robotics laboratory was well received by the school community – students, staff, families and friends together with Councillor Stuart James and local MP Heng Tek.
A multitude of activities were on display including the 3D printer, Code Mouse, Lego EV3, Lego Wedo, digital music with Walkband, Minecraft Education and Scratch.

Thank you to parent volunteer Katreen Cook and Year 5 teacher Evert Eykman for the countless hours which went into the application for ‘Pick my Project’. We were delighted to be awarded $200,000 towards the project. Through our own school fundraising efforts we raised a further $200,000 to see the vision become a reality.

Fittingly named –
THE RON CANTLON DIGITAL LEARNING CENTRE – the centre will be a community hub of digital technology which, we know, will engage many children and families in STEM now and into the future.

Congratulations to all. It is an amazing achievement.
