Konnichiwa! We celebrated Japanese Week last week and it was fantastic!
Students and teachers did dress up as anime characters and Pokémon characters. Quite a lot of people wore Karate and Harajuku Style clothing as well as beautiful traditional clothes, Kimono.
During Japanese Week, students enjoyed various special activities in their Japanese class such as Origami, a Pokémon treasure hunt, a paper plane competition, a traditional tea ceremony, Janken (Rock, Paper, Scissors), and a chopsticks competition.
Students also enjoyed special Sushi lunch organised by the Parent Group.
Thank you to all the students, staff, and parents for getting involved in another successful Japanese Day!
