It is always exciting when our pullets start laying and we now have all 6 producing eggs daily.
They generally start laying around 5- 6 months old. Here are some happy snaps of this week’ farmers in the Year 3 Sustainable Village.
The difference in size is because the pullets are at various stages in their egg production (some started earlier than others) – the size will become more consistent over time . This is the weekend haul!
