The OSPS Footy Day was an exceptionally fun and exciting day for students, staff and parents. The junior and senior parades were a hit with a change up in the footy kicking competition having to kick the footy into a wheelie bin!
The annual teacher vs Year 6 football game was intense, with outstanding displays of football skills by staff who have never played before and the usual student and staff stalwarts. With the game tied in the dying minutes, it was a hot contest. The Year 6 students had a free kick on the final siren 15 meters out and scored to win the game.
Parent Group hosted a whole school hot dog day to coincide with Footy Colours Day. This was the highest selling food event to date with over 1100 sales. This event was a great success due to our wonderful parent volunteers, so thank you to all of them! We would also like to thank ex-student Ella H for assisting on the day.
