Students and staff have the opportunity to have some fun dressing up in Japanese costume to celebrate our awesome Japanese Language Education Program at Oakleigh South Primary School. There is no cost involved for this celebration.

Please also consider the potential of hot weather when deciding on your costumes.

Some dress-up suggestions:

Obvious one Karate/Judo outfit, Kimono Dress (No Chinese dress, please).

Funky one Characters such as Pikachu or other Pokémon, Hello Kitty, Nintendo characters such as Mario Brothers, Ninja & Samurai, Japanese street fashion (Harajyuku & Gothic)

Odd one Cherry blossom, Bullet Train, Sumo, Mount Fuji, Sushi, Iron chef, Asimo.
