On Wednesday 23rd November the whole school took part in dress up day for Tigray. Students had to wear any of the colours of Tigray’s flag  – red, yellow, green or blue – or wear their school uniform and add a touch of colour.

Children donated $2 or more to go towards Tsefah Primary School – our adopted sister school. $3.50 was an excellent donation because this is the cost of sending a child to school for a year.

We know that our donations have made a HUGE difference. Mr Alston spent 2 weeks living in the village and teaching at the school last year. He was the first ‘white man’ the villagers had ever seen.  He was overwhelmed by the poverty and inspired by the graciousness of the people.

We are proud to be giving – THE GIFT OF AN EDUCATION
