What an explosive adventure!![]()
On Friday 28th March, 155 excited Grade 5 students headed off for an action-packed Natural Disasters excursion.
We started at IMAX with ‘Extreme Weather’, learning how powerful events like tornadoes, wildfires and melting glaciers are shaping our world.
At the Melbourne Museum, students explored exhibits such as Bugs Alive, Dynamic Earth, and 600 Million Years: Victoria Evolves, deepening their understanding of Earth’s history.
In the afternoon, we returned to IMAX, popped on our 3D glasses and were transported into ‘Volcanoes 3D’, journeying from ancient Pompeii to the lava flows of Hawaii.
We ended the day with some fun in the park—relaxing and enjoying the sunshine with friends.![]()
Our students showed excellent behaviour and represented our school with pride.
A big thank you to our wonderful parent helpers and Grade 5 teachers and support staff for an unforgettable day!![]()
