This time 10 years ago OSPS was planning for the incoming of 10 Prep classes in 2015. Over 200 Prep students attended that year and filled every single classroom in the junior wing of the main building. It was a significant increase in enrolments and at this stage OSPS applied to the department for a capping of enrolments which was granted, allowing 7 Prep classes to be enrolled each year afterwards.
It certainly changed a few ways on how we managed the large numbers in terms of timetabling, productions, camps, Year 6 sport and graduation! And what a team of teachers!
These students will be entering Year 10 in high school next year! We hope they are succeeding in life with whatever their endeavours are!
