PRINCIPAL’S REPORT
Last week the Year 4 children were superb in their performances in The Music Man. I would like to congratulate the effort and commitment the children put into their production practices to make each show fantastic. A big thank you to all the staff involved and the many parents who volunteered their time and skills to make another amazing OSPS production.
Today we welcomed our visiting students and teachers from Tamba Higashi PS in Japan. They were introduced at our school assembly and appeared very excited for the week ahead. Everyone looked fantastic for their arrival dressed in their Japanese costumes. Thank you to the staff and host families for providing this amazing experience for everyone involved.
A further reminder that the School Council ballot papers are due next Monday 5th August at 4pm and the Parent Opinion Survey (if you were randomly selected) is to be completed online by Sunday 11th August
Have a fantastic week.

Principal

SCHOOL MATTERS

No Children Drop Offs in the Staff Carpark
Please be reminded that children can only be dropped off in the staff carpark by their parents if they are booked in to Out of School Hours Care. There have been incidences lately where children are being dropped off to school extremely early in the staff carpark and have nearly been hit by cars coming into the carpark.
All children must walk in from the front of the school using the footpath that runs down the side of the oval, or across the oval form the oval carpark. If you are concerned with poor weather please provide your child with a hooded waterproof jacket if it is raining
Thank you

Woolworths Earn and Learn Program
Thank you to all the families and friends who participated in this year’s earn & learn program. I’m pleased to announce that with your tremendous effort, we collected 65,186 points. The year level teachers have selected assorted equipment and resources for use in their grades. We expect this equipment to be delivered sometime in Term 4.
Once again thank you to everyone who contributed to this very worthwhile program

Early Arrivals, Yard Duty and Late Pick Ups
Yard duty before school commences at 8:45 am.
After school teachers are in the grounds until 3:45 pm. Students on school grounds outside these times will not be supervised (unless they attending a before or after school care program or supervised extracurricular activity).
