PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

Welcome back to Term 2, I hope that you all enjoyed some family time and a restful break.

During the holidays, it was all hands-on deck as the builders worked towards the end of the building project. For those of you who have been able to get to school, you will have noticed the amazing administration wing is now in operation, and the outside access decks and landscaping is taking shape. Like all new builds, there are still some minor works to be done to make the job complete. We are so happy with the end results. As the saying goes, ‘Good things come to those who wait!’

Now we can prepare for the new carpark build starting later this year!

The fantastic new junior playground is finished. The whole area now looks bright, fresh, and very inviting and being enjoyed by our younger students.

It’s only four more weekends until the OSPS Autumn Fete is on. May 11th is the date, so lock it into your calendars now. Thank you to all the families who so far have volunteered their time to support their class stall. If you haven’t already done so, please add your name to the lists that are in each classroom.

Just a reminder if your child arrives at school after 9.00am, a parent must sign them in at the office, before taking/sending them to their classroom. If your child is absent, please enter an absence note on COMPASS, to explain why they are not at school. This ensures we know where all our students are, in the case of an emergency situation.

Enjoy your weekend!

Principal
